About our home

Comfortable, spacious and sunny town house with a nice private courtyard. Designed by an architect, the house was built in 1994. Well oriented, the house is allways full of natural light. Double height and open spaces make it look much larger than it really is. Kitchen (18m2), living and dining room (30m2) and one bedroom are directly facing the planted courtyard in the ground floor. The 3 others rooms and bathrooms are upstairs. The wooden facades and the plants in the courtyard create a "micro climate" that makes you feel far from the town. Modern confort and authentic materials make it warm and inviting.

More about us

  1. Anne, Marc, and our 3 kids (Ulysse, 17, Morgane 14 and Zélie, 21...months) live in Ivry for 15 years and enjoy it. Marc is architect and Anne worked in a marketing firm before the birth of Zélie. We love to travel and would like to swap for this summer or for shorter periods in the year. It will be the first time.

Where is it?

We live in Ivry sur Seine, a suburb town touching the south limit of Paris. So we need a 5 minutes walk to be in Paris... The metro is 15O metres from home, and we can be in Notre Dame or Le Louvre in less than 20 minutes. Buses and trains are also available. A bakery, a grocery, a supermarket, a public square, restaurants, a post office, a pharmacy, banks are in a 2OO meters area and make family life easy. You don't need a car to live here: bicycles and public transport fit all. The neighboorhood is nice, quiet and safe. By car, it is easy to reach the highways to the south and west of France (Versailles or Fontainebleau 30 minutes, chateaux de la Loire 3 hours,) or to the East (Disney,30 minutes, Reims 90 minutes).
