About our home

I am proposing my "pied-à-terre" which is part of an old Pathe Cinema building now remodelled in apartments (I also have a painting studio in the same complex).
The apartment is at the back of the main building and is then totally quiet. In front of the studio there is private garden to eat (barbecue available) or sunbathe. The private garden is now separated by a wall for total privacy (this was just done and not yet photographed). Inside one half is the confortable living room and the other half is the kitchen, bathroom and toilet. In a mezzanine there is a double bed.
It is a place of charm and are perfect if you want to combine Paris and the quietness of the Marne river.

More about us

  1. Joinville is one of my working place as a painter (www.roegiersclaude-art.com). It is like a small retreat where I love to work in a quiet and relaxing environement. With my new serie I am exhibiting outside Belgium and France and when there is the possibility I like to follow the show. I am very flexible for the terms of the exchange as this is not my main residence and could even propose my Smart car.

Where is it?

Joinville is at the East of Paris. The studio is near the Marne river (1 block away) and there is a nice path along the river for jogging or bycicling. The Bois de Vincennes is also near by. Paris is 8 km away and is very easy to reach either by car through the A4 motorway or the Bois de Vincennes. A direct RER (A) line brings you to the center in 20 minutes and the station is 8 minutes away by walking. Of course there is all you need for food near by and there is a nice food market twice a week.
