“This was our first time exchanging and to say we were happy with the whole experience is an understatement. We exchanged to La Roche-sur-Yon but we were in the heart of the Vendee region. There was countless things to do. We arrived at the airport and located the car without a problem. The house was perfect. Clean and welcoming. Anne had left some small gifts for the children which were perfect. We felt at home instantly. We travelled around a lot and did and saw lots. We recommend Futurescope and Le Puy Du Fou theme parks over Disney any day. Also we enjoyed the Velo rail and the Haras de Vendee. Also a visit to Noirmoutier and La Rochelle. If you have children a visit to the Park in La Rochelle is well worth it. Finally we recommend Clemenceau restaurant in La Roche. Overall we had a great exchange and the Cardoen family were great and left our house perfect. We intend exchanging again and are looking at Christmas 2010.”

“We stayed for two weeks in La Roche sur Yon, a minor town in south/west of France. A house suitable for a family of four, as we are. We enjoyed the surroundings, near the ocean, near a lot of big stores and easy access to the rest of the region. And we enjoyed staying in a place where you only met french people, no tourists. And a relaxed atmosphere. In bad weather we drove off to bigger cities, Nantes is quite charming, and to markets, and in good weather we really enjoyed fabulous beaches and eating all sorts of fish in the harbour towns.”
