About our home

Our home is modern and comfortable, clean, and spacious. We have owned it two years ago when we transfered for my job. It has a kitchen with an adjoining dining room. Our backyard is very sunny, south facing. There are one spacious bedroom upstairs with 1 bathroom and an office. On the main floor there are two bedrooms, one with à double bed and one with a single bed, and an office with a sofa bed and 1 bathroom. In the summer we eat outdoors on the patio, which is equipped with table, chairs and a barbeque. We have got a swimming pool in which you will be able to relax.

Where is it?

We are living in a little village near Toulouse on the country side (15 minutes to the earth of the town). Toulouse is a very nice town called the pink town because of the color of the bricks. The city is well known for the cassoulet a culinar speciality and for the foie gras. Toulouse is well known too for its rugby team, the most famous team of France. You can visit the Pyrénées, go to Spain an Andore (free taxes), visit Bordeaux and its vineyard (a couple of hours). You can also visit the Périgord (a couple of hours) and search truffle, or visit the Gers (1 hour) and eat fois gras of duck, the lot et Garonne with the castle and Carcassonne (1 hour), the beautiful medieval city that you have to see on july 14th for the Bastille day during the firework. Its possible to walk along the canal du midi a canal between the Atlantic ocean and the Mediterranean sea (running, walking and cycling).
