About our home

It is not a palace but it 's very cozy....

3 bedroom apartment. Master bedroom has a queen-sized bed, one with a single bed and the last with a fold-out sofa bed (sleeps two) and a cot (can be used for a child up to 5 years old). Includes all bedding, toys, nappy table, etc for babies and young children, so if you have a baby or young child, things will be made a lot easier for you!

Lounge/living room contains a large canapy (possibility that someone can sleep there), with large plasma screen, home cinema system with surround sound and DVD. Many channels with movies (if originally English movie) also have the possibility to be put into English. Also includes free high-speed internet, Wifi, 2 computers (one laptop and one PC that is in the master bedroom and also doubles as a TV!) and telephone with free calling to all fixed lines and mobiles in the United States so no problem for staying in contact with family and friends back home!

Large kitchen, fully equiped with microwave, oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. Last but not least are the 2 bathrooms. Or rather 1 large bathroom (bath, 2 basins, toilet - and with a window which isn't so common in Parisian appartments) and a shower room (shower and basin but no window) and a seperate room for the other toilet.

There are also two balconies so if the weather is fine you can sit and eat outside! The smaller one comes off the lounge while the larger one from two of the bedrooms.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

The first apartment is located in a suburb just 15 minutes from Paris! On the first floor and southward facing so has all-day sun. The apartment building is away from the street behind other apartment buildings with grassed areas in between so it is quiet and calm, the other buildings block any noise from the roads!
The RER A is only 10 minutes away by foot (station Neuilly-Plaisance) but there is also a bus that takes you to this station with a stop right outside the apartment complex. The RER A takes you right into the centre of Paris (station ChÃ¢telet Les Halles) in 10 minutes and if taken in the other direction, you reach the magic of EuroDisney in 15 minutes! There is also a supermarket only 5 minutes away by foot to make groceries easy!

For those who are also interested (possibility of discovering Paris and the south of France), we also have a second appartment -small 2 room apartment (in an apartment-hotel) in the south-west of France between Perpignan and Montpellier. A magnificent view of the Pyrenées mountains (le canigou), the building is directly in front of the sea and also includes a pool which is in between the building and the sea. In the evening there are also activies and parties organised by the hotel as well as child-minding avaliable during the day. The apparment sleeps up to 4, possibly 5 but that would be pushing it....it would be squashed.
