About our home

We live in a large two-story house (300 m²). It was built at the begining of the 20th century and is made of stones. We have a garden at the back of the house, with a "boulodrome", some storage spaces and a Puddle of water. In the house, there's a big kitchen with a dining room, a living room with a fireplace, and a big bathroom with a shower and a bath. There's only bedrooms on the first floor, making it very quiet to sleep. And on the second floor, a big playing room (40 m²) is used by the children to read, play and watch TV. There's also another bedroom with a bathroom, for friends coming by. The neighbourhood is really quiet.

More about us

  1. We are a family of 5 : Nicolas and Isabelle, and our sons Maxime (13), Guillaume (12) and Pierre (8). Isabelle is a teacher for young kids, and Nicolas is working at Health Services. The boys are crazy about football and sports, and Guillaume plays the guitar too. So there's a lot of balls around home. A nice cat, Minette, is most of the time busy in our home, playing, eating and mostly sleeping ! Lately we have put on the second floor a home video ; our watching movies at home is now really nice.
Perhaps we can go with Isabelle's sister ...who is fluent in English!

We live in a town of 3 500 inhabitants. Shopping and living is easy at Le Poiré, you can find everything you need : bakery, supermarket, pharmacy, doctors, library... The nearest town is La Roche sur Yon, at 15 mn, where you can find a theater, restaurants, cinema... You can also ride horses. If you're interrested in taning at the sea, surfing and yatching, it's only 35 mn away by car. In all the area, and in town too, there's a lot of festivals and historical places to visit. Some entertainments nearby : the Puy du Fou (45 mn) ; the Futuroscope in Poitiers (2 h); and the valley of the Loire is not that far away. Nantes, the biggest city nearby is at 45 mn ; there's an airport there.
