About our home

Our home is an old manor (1905) situated on a 4 acres (2 hectares) land where a river flows. It is located in a little village (2500 inhabitants)where you can find several stores like bakeries, supermarket, bookshop, cafés etc... and a big chocolate factory that you can visit. On the ground floor are a large modern kitchen, a living area with large sofas, LCD TV, stereo HIFI, cable, fireplace and a big french pool. Upstairs are four bedrooms, each one with a bathroom. On the second floor are two more rooms and one bathroom. There's also a garden level with sofas, a big table and a table football. In the garden there is a swimming pool with hot water, and you can fish in the river. You can use our car: a Volkswagen 4X4 Touareg automatic diesel.

Dominique and Pascale are two busy professionnels aged 47 with 3 boys : Matteo is 25 and spends 8 months visiting Australia with his girlfriend Shirley, Thibaud is 23 as his girlfriend Emily and Florent is 13. We would enjoy to spend 2 weeks together near Sydney during xmas, but you can come in France in august (our summer holidays) because we'll be abroad.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Our home is in a quiet place but you can walk easily to the stores (500 mètres) 20 km far from Evreux (cathedral, museum, big centers for shopping and movies) and 100 km far from Paris (Versailles) and Deauville (the beaches). We are surrounded by very old little towns with churches, fortified castles and medieval houses (Verneuil sur Avre, Conches). There's also a lot of paths in country where you can go for a hike.
