About our home

We have a large, peaceful and very comfortable home in the western part of Paris. It has 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms and can accommodate 8. Built in the 1930s we have completely redesigned and decorated it 5 years ago and it is now very comfortable. A large and well-equipped kitchen, a nice living-room with a fireplace, TVs, fast-speed Internet access, a home theatre and bikes for the whole family are some of the features you will enjoy. The house is surrounded by a large garden (1,500 sq. meters) and is located on a very quiet street.

More about us

We are Carole and Bertrand, a married couple with four children, aged from 6 to 15.
Carole rides, sings in a chor and loves to cook. Bertrand likes all kinds of sports but prefers kitesurf above all.
The 6 of us love to travel and have already seen many countries together.
We have not done a home exchange before but are keen to try what sounds a great way to see another country as a resident - and allow someone to see yours.
We are very respectful to others and teach our children to do so.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

The small town where we leave is a typical European town with many food stores, restaurants and beautiful parks.
The train station is a two-minutes walk and will take you on the famous Paris, Champs-Elysees in 15 minutes. With the car you are 30 minutes away from Versailles and its castle and only 90 minutes away from Deauville and the Normandy beaches.
We have a mini-van that you will be able to use to visit the countryside or even drive to the Loire valley â this is only a 3-hours drive.
