About our home

Our house consists of seven rooms on the same floor: a large living-room with a fire-place leading directly to the front terrace, three bedrooms, a study, a kitchen, a bathroom and separate WC. We have a large garden and a little wooden swimming pool behind the house. You can enjoy sunbathes on its terrace and also have a drink or a barbecue beside it, as you'll find all the garden furniture you need.

More about us

  1. We are Patrice and Catherine. My husband is 36 and he is an engineer. I'm 38 and I'm a teacher. We have a son, Charles, 8 years old. We would like to spend 3 weeks or more in California next summer, especially near San Francisco or Los Angeles, with a view to visiting the area, but also to discovering the American way of live and to improving our English level. As we often travel through France for week-ends or short holidays, we can help you to prepare your visit in our country.

Where is it?

Well known all over the world for the porcelain industry, Limoges is a 150.000 inhabitants city located in the centre of France (region: Limousin, department: Haute-Vienne). You can find here cultural leisure such as museums, cinemas, theatres..., lots of cafes and good restaurants and, above all, outdoor entertainments. Indeed, the department has a large number of lakes, paths across the countryside, beautiful villages to discover ... Limousin contain plenty of architectural and natural treasures that are worth visiting, and the location of it in the country makes it an ideal lead to discover the centre of France. As a matter of fact, Perigord, its castles and prehistoric places, or Rocamadour are less than 1.5 hour's drive, and you've just to drive 3 hours to discover Loire castles or the French Atlantic coast. Our home is situated on the edge of a very quiet housing estate surrounded by fields and woods. We are in the countryside, but very close to all facilities and stores, 15 minutes drive from the centre of Limoges and also from the airport (where you have got direct flights from - and to - Paris and London).
