About our home

Our home is in a idillic part of rural northen France. The cottage was origionally an old bakery and has been renovated into a beautiful country retreat. It lies in a pretty valley, overlooking meadows, fields and woodland.
The cottage is clean and inviting with a fully equiped kitchen, adjoining the kitchen is a lounge with a wood burning fire. The cottage has has full central heating for the colder months.
We have a pretty garden with apple trees and an extra large lawn.

More about us

  1. Our names are Helen and Dave. We have lived in rural France for five years and love the peace and quiet. We have retired very early from our jobs in England and have come to France to try out the good life.
We enjoy travelling and exploring the many different parts of France.
We are both very active. We have renovated our cottage and also a large farmhouse.
All our french neigbours are wonderful and have welcomed us into the community.
We have an excellent social life in France and join in with all the local activities. Our children and granchildren live in Cambridshire, both our parents live in south Wales. That is the reason we would like to do a house exchange in those areas.
Our cottage is very easy to get to from England. Portsmouth/Caen ferry.
    Poole/Saint Malo ferry.
    Dover/ Calais ferry.
    Newhaven/Dieppe ferry.
    Stanstead/Dinard airport.
