More about us

  1. We moved to Lyon in 2006. We used to travel quite regularly, often backpack, but being now the happy parents of 3 children (aged 4, 7 and 9), we have not been travelling as much recently, except for a 8-month-break across Europe + Asia in 2014/2015

My parents (teachers, like me) have been great home-exchangers for 30 years. I am happy to share such an experience with our children now, discovering new destinations thanks to co-exchangers who can introduce us to the local habits.

Our children have grown to know how to take great care of somebody else's home, and they are quite calm and quiet.

We insist on offering a welcoming, clean & tidy home to our co-exchangers, and expect them to do the same. Up to now, coming home after an exchange ( about 20 exchanges in 10 years) has always been a good surprise!

  2. If you wish to make sure everything is Ok with us (which we can understand), please feel free to ask us for a screen shot of the comments our co-exchangers wrote on the other webside we left recently.

Where is it?

Downtown Lyon is a few bus stops away, and it is a 5 min car ride / 10 min walk to Lyon Central Train Station "Part Dieu", as well as to the famous “Halles de Lyon” where excellent fresh local food can be bought (or eaten on the spot) and to France's oldest park "Tête d'Or".

Quite everything is within walking distance : butcher's, baker's, supermarket, open-air market for greeneries, and several restaurants (fast food, indian, chinese, local "bouchon lyonnais"...). As a gourmet family, we'll be happy to share tips and good addresses with you, for cooking at home with good quality fresh products, as well as for eating out.
