Welcome to our home in Maisons Laffitte, France. It is also the the town were Louis XIV lived, where Jean Cocteau was born or where, more recently, Emma Watson has spent the first five years of her live. Maisons Laffitte, famous also for its horse racing track is a wonderful mix of town and country 18 kms west of Paris with a stunning chateau (Château de Maison Laffitte, built by architect François Mansart in the 17 century) and parc along La Seine. By car or by train, Maisons Lafitte is only 20 minutes away from Paris or Versailles.
We live a lovely, light and functional apartment on the second floor of a 1930's building. Everything you need is within walking distance (french pastry, cheese store, butcher, grocer, supermarket, very good restaurants, shopping, sport community center, etc).
My husband is a partener in a transport company and I work in the automobile industry. We are very respectfull people and we’ll treat your home like our own. So if you would like to visit France, let us know and maybe we can make an exchange work.

For those who want to visit more, Maisons Laffitte is only 3 hours drive away from Omaha Beach on the coast of Normandy facing the English Channel, 1h30 away from the Rouen’s cathedrales or 2h away from le Havre or Deauville.
