About our home

We live in a comfortable family house in a quiet street of the very center of Marseille, not far from the beach nor from the shopping street or the "Vieux Port". The underground is five minutes walk away and there is a traditional market 6 days a week just near. The house was built in 1900. It has got a garden with trees (4 pine trees...), a swimming-pool, swings, ping-pong, barbecue. On the ground floor, directly to the garden,a large kitchen and a dining-room. On the first floor, a large living room with a big fire-place. Upstairs, a floor with WC, bathroom, 2 single bedrooms with 3 or 4 sleeps possible, a floor with WC, 2 bathrooms, 2 double bedrooms and one single bedroom. Highspeed internet wifi + large plasma tv. If you prefer or use both, we have a small summer flat (47m2) in Le Lavandou located on the very beautiful beach with 1 bedroom, ideal for 4 people (but 6 sleeps). We have a weekly cleaner and a cat which can go on holidays at our parents'. We have a car to exchange if desired(7 seats).

More about us

  1. Gerard and Isabelle have 4 children: 3 girls aged 18 and twins 16, and one boy aged 11. Isabelle is a teacher and Gerard is a manager in a Telecom company. We have just done a home exchange before with a family in London and it was a very good record. Our daughter Juliette(16) is in Woodland Hills with a marvellous host family to spend a school year in a high school and we would like to visit her and see the places she likes. We would travel with her gran-mother and are very excited to see her again and to know your beautiful country better. Mail us for any proposal.
