About our home

Spend your holidays or business trips in a well-appointed fully equipped apartment in the Vieux-Port district, the heart of the historic city center of Marseille.

On the street side, a balcony overlooking the harbor. On the courtyard side, a large terrace facing south to enjoy the sun all day and partially covered for your meals & aperitifs al fresco. Double glazing. Air conditioning. Lift.

Near the sea, beaches & calanques, museums, restaurants, shops, entertainment, historic landmarks, and all city buses, metro, tramways and boats on your doorstep.

This apartment is a holiday rental. We are usually booked every year from March 1 to Nov 1 and Dec 15 to Jan 5. Please check our calendar before making an inquiry : when dates are shown as 'unavailable', we regretfully cannot accommodate booking requests.

  1. We are a couple, traveling by ourselves and occasionally with 1-2 relatives or friends.

  2. We are both retired entrepreneurs. Today, Helene is an astrologer and Roland is a member of several associations working for the betterment of society.

  3. We love art, architecture, music festivals, local cultures & cuisine.

Overlooking the Vieux-Port city harbor, the apartment is located on 6th and top floor of a quiet building on a newly renovated side street off the harbor main quay.

With all historical landmarks dating back to its 6th-century Greek settlement as Massalia, bars, restaurants, retail stores within walking distance or a short ride:
- the Vieux-Port quays abounding with day and nightlife
- Le Panier oldest district of Marseille with its original maze of medieval streets
- La Joliette newly renovated docks districts
- La Veille Charité museum set in a listed 17th-century almshouse
- Le Mucem museum of Mediterranean and European Civilisations designed by award-winning architect Rudy Ricciotti
- Notre-Dame-de-la-Garde basilica protecting Marseille that overlooks the entire city and 26 km of seafront
