About our home

Our home is a rural house built circa 1900, one of a small group of houses at the end of a lane about 2 kms outside Bourgoin Jallieu. The ground floor consists of a fully-equipped open kitchen/dining room and a living room with tiled floor, beams, and open fireplace. There is a sofa-bed which can sleep two. There is also a large store room and cloakroom with WC. The first floor consists of the main bedroom (double bed), an office and the bathroom (WC, bath and shower). The top, converted attic, floor is a bedroom and play area for the children (2 single beds, possibility of additional single bed and/or folding cot). Range of children's games, toys, books and DVDs. There is a driveway and covered outdoor eating area in front of the house, play/garden area at the back, with a view over the valley. Car recommended (exchange possible).

We have two children, Gwendoline, 8 and Dilwyn, nearly 10. We like to spend a month in the UK during July and August (summer school holidays in France), possibly by doing two 2-week exchanges.
