About our home

It's a lovely apartment in a 1930's building (third floor, no elevator), wooden floors, exposed east and west, open kitchen, living room with large TV, large bedroom, office with computer and sofa bed, bathroom with a bathtub, separate toilet.
The cat won't be here when you come !

Il s'agit d'un appartement plein de charme dans un immeuble des années 30 (2e étage, pas d'ascenseur), parquet, moulures, double exposition est-ouest, cuisine ouverte, salon avec grande télé, grande chambre, bureau avec ordinateur, une grande bibliothèque pleine de BD et un lit d'appoint (2 places), salle de bains avec baignoire, toilettes séparées.

We are Lionel and Cecile, 36 and 30. We don't have children yet. I'm a civil servant and Lionel is the manager of a French music band.
We have not done a home exchange before but we think it's a great way to see another country the way residents do.
Nous sommes Cécile et Lionel, nous avons 30 et 36 ans. Nous n'avons pas encore d'enfants. Je suis fonctionnaire territoriale et Lionel est manager d'un groupe de musique. Nous n'avons pas encore fait d'échanges mais nous pensons que c'est une très belle manière de voyager.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

The building is two minutes away by foot from the metro (line n°9, station "Croix de Chavaux"), which gets you to Paris in 5 minutes, and in the heart of the city in 20 minutes. This line goes directly to the big department stores and the champs Elysees.
It's a secure neighborhood, there's no problem coming home alone at night.
There's all kind of stores you need around: grocery stores, restaurants (French and Foreign cuisines), cafes, fast food, post office...
Montreuil is a very dynamic city, at the crossroads of many cultural influences: there are over a hundred nationalities linving together harmoniously. Many artists live here too. Ideal for someone who has already seen the touristy side of Paris and now wishes to live as real Parisians do.
