About our home

This is a very cosy, small, typical townhouse. Approximately 60m2 on 4 levels... The ground floor is just a small entrance. Next level livingroom and kitchen. On the second floor there's a bathroom with toilet, a dressingroom which is full but where you find a combined washingmachine/dryer, and a child's bedroom with an elevated bed and a place to sleep under it as well. The third and last floor is under the roof and it's a very nice and sunny bedroom. There's an extremely tiny "balcony" (ca 1m2...) in this room, and a view over the rooftops of surrounding houses as well as treetops from the parc. Because of all the stairs, quite old, this house is not suited for very young children.

Where is it?

Mouans Sartoux is a very small town, but since we live in the old part of it, next to a very beautiful parc and Castle, it's more like a village. By car it is only 10 minutes from the village of Valbonne, and other typical provençal villages. Going the opposite direction it's about half an hour from Cannes (very difficult to talk about time here, as we are used to extremely heavy traffic in summer and during festivals), and about 45 minutes by the motorway to Nice, Monaco a little more than an hour... There is less traffic to go up in the mountains for hiking, Gorbio is only 30 minutes away for exemple. Close to our house there's a children's playground in the parc of the castle. Just outside our house there are a few restaurants and lots of music in summer. There's cinema, bakerys, foodshops, newsagents, postoffice etc on walking distance. There are several different parkingspaces in the village.
