Our house is in a garden with fruit trees, kitchen garden and old big trees. In summer time we are almost outside and we enjoy their shadow. There is a livingroom with open kitchen colored and bright. There are three bedrooms, one for two people and two teenager's bedroom (single bed). You have also a small TV room with a sofabed for two. All the rooms have a garden view, it's a simple, comfortable and easy to live house.
Our two boys are sixteen and thirteen. My husband, Jean-marc, is guide of outdoor activity (climbing, caving, canyoning: see trhe homepage)
I am ceramist sculptress (it's wy you find many sculptures in the house and the garden!) my workshop is in a part of the house. We have not done a home exchange before but are keen to try what sounds a great way to see another country as a resident - and allow someone to see ours. We would expect to arrange an exchange some way in advance in order to get to know our fellow exchangers via email first to see how best we can facilitate their stay in France.
Ideally located as a tourism base, we are between Mediterraneen see and Cévennes hills and near Uzès, Nîmes, Avignon, Arles, Montpellier. There is no shop in the village but you find shopping and local market in ST-Chaptes (4kms) and Uzès (15kms). During summer you have many free entertainments all aruond in villages an town (music, shows..)
