About our home

We have a nice and confortable 180 M2 house on a single floor. A large playroom is downstair.

It is a 8 year house with all you need to be confortable, games, videos and lots of books if you want to stay inside but also a nice garden with different sunny & shady sections, but all with flowers!

More about us

We are a familiy of 4, Evelyne and Jean-Yves are in their 4O's. Evelyne is French teacher and Jean Yves and engineer in a high tech SME. We have 2 chidren, Pierre is 16 and Lucile 14. We all like nature and all cultural actitivities like theatre, danse, music etc...
We have done home excahnge for summer vacation every year since 2004. We always liked it very much, it is such a nice way to discover a new country in a confortable and friendly way. we got only nice surprises and we definitely want to renew the experience this year.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

We have the chance to be very close to Nancy city center (10min), the city of King Stanislas. Nancy is now a middle size town with very rich architecture of art nouveau and 18th century and a lot a cultural and summer activities.

But we also live in a quiet and large house close to the lake and the forest. It is very easy to take nice walks or to bike in the forest or in the countryside, without taking the car. We are also 200 m from the town swimming pool ans sport center.

There is a lot of nature sports and cultual activities in Nancy and Champigneulles but we are also only 25 min from Metz with the nice Mosel and the new Pompipou modern art museum, 1h from Stasbourg, 1h 10 min from Luxembourg and 1h30 min from paris by train.
