About our home
Our home is comfortable, clean and cosy. It's a charming apartment with wooden floor in the center of Nantes. Two bedrooms and one living room and a fully equipped kitchen. We are in the 3rd floor, our neighbourhood is quiet and cool. You have all facilities in the area (wonderful backery !) and the apartment is located on a place where is the cathedral church, and near the "Château des ducs de Bretagne" (2 mn walk). You're in the heart of Nantes: Nice restaurants, French and foreign cuisines, Cafes with music and entertainment in the evening (10 mn walk).

We are Anne & Nicolas, a married couple, we are 28 and 30 years old. I'm a social worker and Nicolas is working in accounting sector. We love travelling and have discovered the United States last year making a trip from NYC to SF, via the national parks. We would like this summer stay longer in a city. We really love the United Stated and the American people who are so friendly !

Nantes is a city in western France, located on the Loire River, 50 km (31 mi) from the Atlantic coast, with its beautiful beaches(swimming, surfing). In 2004, Time described Nantes as the "the most livable city in all of Europe" ! Nantes' most common nickname is as "the Venice of the West". Many cultural activities to discover the history of the city: Château des ducs de Bretagne (Castle of the Dukes of Brittany), The Isle of Nantes; a former shipyard turned into a leisure and cultural site, including the Machines of the Isle of Nantes permanent exhibition,Passage Pommeraye (19th century galleria with shopping), Brasserie La Cigale (renowned as one of France's most beautiful brasseries), etc. And the location is great: Paris (the capital city of France) is far from 2 hours in train, Bordeaux (port city in the southwest of France,famous for the Bordeaux wine, Bordeaux has about 117,000 hectares of vineyards)is far from 3 hours in car, and you are 3 hours from Britain, a large peninsula in the northwest of the country, with spectacular islands...
We can easely lend our car during your stay if you want to explore the country.
