Our provençal style villa sits in an olive grove.The house is about 180 m2 with on the ground floor a large kitchen, an adjoining dining room and drawing room opening on the garden.The house has three bedrooms-two with large beds- a study, a shower room and a bathroom The house is spacious, comfortable and pleasant to live in. We also enjoy our swimming pool during the summer months and sitting out in the garden from April till the end of October.

Le jardin est vaste et très beau, avec une vue extraordinaire sur toute la région. Nos hôtes ont été très attentionnés avec nous et nos enfants et ont tout organisé pour rendre notre séjour magnifique. Nous sommes très chanceux d\'avoir pu effectuer cet échange!”

“We can only describe our one-month stay at the beautiful house of Jacques and Babbi as a very enjoyable and memorable experience. The house was very comfortable, the garden beautiful and the large pool was pure delight! The house, which is situated between some very old olive trees, is just outside Nice, but in a rural area with a beautiful view over the hilltop village of Falicon. We especially enjoyed visiting the many art galleries and other cultural activities in the region. Jacques and Babbi were wonderful hosts, who fetched us from the airport and treated us to a very nice dinner when we arrived. We can unreservedly recommend their place. Gerhard & Dirkie”
“How does one describe such a beautiful place and such kind people? The house is magnificent, the garden also, the situation perfect; yes of course it's Nice or rather even better - just outside Nice in green hills. Jacques and Babbi welcomed us after a long drive with a barbecue and wine! and they left our place in Paris in impeccable order. “We exchanged homes this summer for 2 weeks and we really enjoyed. We found a very nice house, well organized. There are friendly neighbours and everyone made us feel most welcome. The kids simply loved it and never wanted to leave. They expecially loved the swimming pool in the garden. We eat also in the garden.The house is situated in a nice, small village and the landscape around is spectacular. The bus to the downtown Nice is about 100 meters. By car Nice is a short drive away. We found it a great place to get away and relax. We naturely highly recommend this place. A very succesful exchange.”
“J'ai échangé mon appartement avec cette famille niçoise qui vit dans une belle villa sur les hauteur de Nice. La maison est grande, confortable et accueillante. La vue y est magnifique, en particulier de la piscine, et le village à 5 min à pied absolument adorable. Il fait bon vivre dans cette petite campagne si proche de la ville et si calme. “Abbiamo passato due settimane rilassanti e piacevolissime a casa di Babbi e Jacques due simpatici padroni di casa che ci hanno offerto la loro casa per uno scambio non simultaneo. Giardino splendido con piscina e casa bella ma familiare dove ci siamo trovati a nostro agio da subito. La città raggiungibile anche con l'autobus è bella e i dintorni da scoprire assolutamente sia quelli marini che i paesaggi collinari, st paul de vence per citarne solo uno. E stata proprio una bella esperienza che amerei ripetere ancorave la raccomando assolutamente nicoletta da roma.”
We are Babbi and Jacques a married couple in our late seventies. I was an academic at Nice University and my Swedish born wife a head nurse at Nice public hospital. We are quite active- I enjoy working in the garden, I play golf and tennis and am fond of trout fishing in our mountain streams. Babbi is keen on designing and sewing her own clothes, she loves mountaineering, golf and is also involved in voluntary social programmes.
We have already done several very successful exchanges and are open to more opportunities. We think it is a good way of getting to know another country as resident, to make new acquaintances and new friends.We are also open to the possibility of non simultaneous exchanges.
Falicon is a residential village of the French Riviera within 5-10 minutes'drive to Nice city centre. Buses also offer easy access to town (with a bus stop nearby). The house and garden are quite private with a lovely view on the ancient village of Falicon, the surrounding hills and the mediterranean in the distance.

Our region offers a wide choice of visits and activities to the holiday makers : swimming and water sports, tennis, golf,hiking but also mountaineering and skiing in winter at the mountain resorts at little more than an hour's drive. There are also many art museums and sites of natural or cultural interest not only on the coast but also in the hinterland with its perched ancient villages and mountains of the Southern Alps.
