About our home

Flat situated in a building of a XVII th century, down town, in the historical part of the town (L'ECUSSON). A 104 square meter + terrace. We offer two large bedrooms, one with a double bed and another with two single beds, a livingroom (with sofa where 1 people can sleep), a bathroom and a full equiped kitchen where all the family can eat, with all the modern comfort. The apartment is completly renewed. Modern and ancient carpets, with valuable modern abstract paintings. You are 300 ft from the Museum of modern art (build by Norman FOSTER), 300 ft from the âArènesâ build between 50 & 100 A.C. NÃ®mes is 40 km from the mediterraneen sea.
Mac computer, Wireless internet throughout the apartment.

I am (Jean-Claude) a retired professor and my wife, Marie-José, is a retired professor too. I have been a cultural diplomat ("Attaché Culturel") so I spend my life in many foreign countries. We are interested in art, cinema and theater etc.
Our exchange party would be three adults, but depending on your dates, we may ask if another person could join us. We are extremely responsible and respectful of exchange properties, treating them with the same loving care as our own home. We would expect to arrange an exchange some way in advance in order to get to know our fellow exchangers via email first and telephon to see how best we can facilitate their stay in FRANCE.
We would like to stay one month, or less, between end of june & august, preferably august. It has to be during the scholar hollydays period

Ideally located as a touring base, our town offers easy access to the cities, Arles, Avignon, Montpellier, Marseille, Provence and Ardèche etc, around an hour. In NÃ®mes you have swimming pools, Golf de Vacquerolles (6km), roller-skates pist For teenagers, restaurants, cinemas and theater within 15 minutes walk. You can reach the mediterranean see within 40 minutes by car and it's...always hot and sunny. 200 km. of coast and harbours between Spain and Camargue .Within 3 hours from Barcelonne (Spain). Lowcost Ryan air London-Marseille.
