About our home

We have conceived this contemporary house to comply with our lifestyle. We have the chance to inhabit in a scrubland (garrigue) preserved area close to the historical centre of Nimes.

Our house is build on the side of a hill, on 6 split-levels. It is airy and full of light, each room open on the nature. It's around 170 sq. meters on a plot of 3000 sq. meters.

The living space is open to form a friendly room opening on the large terrace that surround the swimming pool. Kids zone comprise 2 bedrooms ( 1 single bed, 1 double bed ), lots of toys, with their own bathroom. Our bedroom is apart, it has a king size bed and its own bathroom.

It is a very nice place to live in, with an open view over the surroundings hills and breezy during the summer.

You will love to relax by the pool after a long day of visits !

Our house is located just 10 min by car of the historical centre of Nimes. Our area is lovely, we do benefit of a peaceful and quiet neigh borough, while staying close to the urban attractions.

Within just 5 min by car, you will find a local shopping area with all the convenience stores, a supermarket, a golf course and tennis.

Nîmes was an important roman city, with major monuments as the Maison Carrée and the Arenas. Our city as a unique heritage and you will love to live in this place full of history. Our fantastic way of life have been appreciate from a very long time !

It is also a good base to visit our area :

It is easy to reach some of the most beautiful places as Arles, the provencal typic town, Montpellier, the economic capitale of the area, Uzès, a unique medieval duchy and the famous Pont du Gard, are just 35 min drive !

Avignon, the Pope city, Les Beaux de Provence, Saint Rémy are 45 min drive, the cosmopolite Marseille and the medieval ramparts of Carcassonne are less than 1h30 away.

For a nature escape, wild beaches of Camargue with its fragile ecosystem , are just 40 km away, not much longer than the foothills of the Cevennes mountains !

An easy day trip can also bring you for a hike in the Calanques or in the Luberon area.

All our area is animated by plenty of summer festivals.

You will love our way of life with the lively food markets, our wonderful restaurants, exacting wine makers, as we are the summer orchard of France.

Whatever are your interests, you will love our area, as we have fall in love for it !

Henri is working in the social medical care and Daphne s a ceramist. We have 2 boys; Phileas, 17 years old, and Virgile, 6.

We love to travel, meet new people and different cultures. We had the chance to make more than 20 wonderful exchanges before.
