About our home

Our home is very quiet and large ( 4 bedrooms:1 with double bed,1 with double sofa bed and TV, 2 with 1 single bed. 2 bathrooms)
It is a two story house including a living area with French doors opening into the yard for BBQ at summer time. The backyard (1500m2) is very cosy and enjoyable during the warm season. Our house is located close to a small village with local shopping fully available including a typical street-market every sunday.

More about us

Antoine is a chemical enginer, Sylvie is a housekeeper very busy outside. We are in our fifties with two children, Myrtille 25,working far away from the family and Romain 17. We have enjoyed travelling for Antoine's professionnal career . We eventually settled in Normandy some years ago and believe we could propose our home for exchange, as we all love to discover nice cities and places in europe and use our language skills. Summer is a nice time to be all together in new countries.
Our main activities around home are gardenning, sailing a hobbie cat,bicycling,rowing,horse riding, tennis.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Octeville sur Mer is located in the countryside 15 minutes away from Etretat, a picturesque city of Northern France where swimming, sunbathing and golfing is very enjoyable during summer. Further south, Normandy is welcoming you with many interesting visiting sites (Honfleur, Deauville...). Also Paris is at two hours away driving distance. Le Havre, a large city 10 minutes away , can also provide you with everything you need : daily departures for England, shopping malls, large beach, boating and fishing, as well as an interesting architectural design.
