About our home

So this is our house: a 3 floor-old house built in the 18th c. In fact, it used to be a barn... difficult to believe! We had the opportunity to refurnish it from the roof to the floor just as we wanted it: with large windows, large space also. We have an open kitchen on the living room in the 1st floor, our bedroom and bathroom on the 2nd floor. And then, we have set our office and a reading and relaxing space in the 3rd floor where it can be a spare bedroom. Everything is brand new as we moved in July 2009. The house is located in the country surrounded by woods, meadows & horses. We are only 15mn away from Lyon. So either you can enjoy the country (go for a walk, go quading & release) or enjoy the city center of Lyon full of fashionable shops, antique buildings, gastronomic restaurants... Our family will make sure you settle confortably including your transfers from and to the airport as they live quite close to the house.

More about us

As far as we are concerned, we are a young couple in our 30s & that's for this occasion that we are going to New York in February. We really want to exchange houses in order to fit in this city. Besides it could be a great experience: New York is just like a dream. Totally mad about English spoken countries, we perfectly know London where I made my studies & where we love going. We're fond of US culture: my friend plays softball. We also love big cities as we love having a hectic life: we work a lot (I'm an English lecturer & my friend runs her company in personal training). Meeting new people, new countries is also something that we love.

In the courtyside of Lyon. enjoy the calm or have an entertaining night in Lyon. 15mn away from the city center discover a charming suburb, 1h15 from ski resorts, 2h30 from the seaside. Lyon, historical city well known for its gastronomy can not disappoint you. With its Italian arhcitecture and its churches and museums. So many things to do and so many places to see we hope you'll enjoy as much as we do.
