About our home

Brand new home (2005). Ground floor with fully equiped kitchen; Large family room with veranda where we like to relax. Nice view to very pretty church of our village. Large living room linking kitchen to veranda (open space of more than 60 m2). One friend bedroom with seperate bathroom. Upstairs: Master bedroom with queen size bed; 2 kids room with single bed + additional matress. Lots of toys. 1 nice bathroom. Computer spot. 1 additional 36 m2 unfinished room. We are a family of 4. We are in our 40's with 2 kids - Alexandre is 12 and Ilinca is 9. Liliana is a teacher and I am a System analyst. We've been living a few years in Paris, in Canada and in Belgium. We like to travel and want to take every opportunity to have fun with our children. We are kids oriented and like to share good time with our family and friends. We will take care of your property as if it was ours and expect the same from you.

Our little corner of France (called Pays de Gex) is ideally located between Jura mountains and the Swiss border (Geneva + Lake Leman) -=- Our home is located in a small rural/suburban village right by the church (and the cemitery, of course). -=- Jura offers nice easy hiking with spectacular view to lake Geneva and the Alps + nice back country. -=- Geneva is known as the smallest big city in the world (you'll find anything you like such as chocolate, watches or art museums, restaurants, walks along Lake Leman or in the old city, shopping, train station, concert halls). -=- Close by attractions in France or in Switzerland are. - Ferney (5 min) with a unique weekly market every saturday morning where we buy incredible good food (bread, cheese, sausages, fresh vegetables ...) -=- - Boat trips to middle age village of Yvoire, France. - Annecy (40 min) The venice of the Alps -=- - Chamonix and the Mont Blanc area (1 Hr 15) -=- - Lausanne (40 min) Olympic museum + old city -=- -=- Montreux (1 hr) Old middle age castle chateau Chillon - amazing mountain train Golden Panoramic Express.
