About our home

Hey, if you want to discover Paris from one of its beautiful suburban village, come read more about us !

We propose our lovely apartment which mix the nice environment of a french typical town, and the proximity and means of travel to the city of lights : PARIS ! It is a 45m2 two-room, at the first floor of a four floor residential building. We have paint walls with alive colors, and organised the apartment in a way so we can invite friends for diner easily. You can access to internet either by the local computer, or by the wifi network. During the day, rooms are very lightful thanks to the large windows. At nightfall, jalousys will protect you for the early rays of light. From the balcony nature is pretty much present, wich gives you an environment that favours quiet, rest and peace. When weather allows it, there is a barbecue available for great parties and much fun.

Neighbourhood

We are located in Orsay, well-known for its University and as a great stop in the "Vallée de Chevreuse" tour. Orsay is a small city aside a large forest. The suburban train station is at 10 minutes by walking. The closest station is called RER B Le guichet. We attached a train map so you can point where we are ! There are trains every 8-10 minutes in both directions. Travel time to Chatelet les Halles, center of paris and also a main hub for public transport, takes less than 30 minutes. Paris airports : Orly and Charles de Gaulle are an the same train track as we are. No transfers needed !

Around us, you will find a bar-press, a bakery, a grocery plus two restaurants next to the train station. Other shops, market and supermarket, drugstores, post office, restaurants and services are located in downtown Orsay, 20 minutes max from the apartment. As entertainments, nearby you can find a movie theatre, tennis courts and a swimming pool.

Last train to Le Guichet stops around 0.30 at Chatelet les halles. If you want to stay later on Paris, there are night buses every hour from 0.40 to 5.30 from Chatelet to Orsay. We often use them after great evenings passed in PAris. And there you will find absolutely everything and the best entertainment quality !
