About our home

Our apartment is a one bedroom, 53m² (570 sqf) which we updated in 2007. We gave much attention and care to its design. It is very luminous as it is directed southern and located on the fourth floor (without elevator). To reach in, you will have to go throw 2 digital lock doors and a caretaker which secured the building. The apartment has hardwood floors, a living room and a dining area for six (27m² - 290 sqf), very luminous thanks to 3 windows, including a large sofa, a Flat HD TV, a home cinema, a computer and a printer, a phone, an high speed internet access, a large table, six stools. The bedroom (10m² - 11 sqf) has a king size bed, looks out over the court and is calm. The bathroom next to the bedroom has a large shower stall, a washing and a drying machines, a towel dryer. The kitchen (6m² - 64 sqf) has all the amenities for a good cook and is entirely equipped with high quality implements: oven, refrigerator, induction plates, hood, dishwasher, toaster and has a window on a pedestrian street. It's a very comfortable, classy and very design apartment with all the amenities one might need.

Where is it?

This apartment is very central since it is located in the very famous quartier Montorgueil in paris second arrondissement, a pedestrian district so calm and so parisian: http://www.davidlebovitz.com/archives/2010/04/rue_montorgueil_les_halles_paris.html . In about 6-7 minutes walk, you will reach "Châtelet les halles" station which is the largest underground station in the world with connections to 5 RER, 5 Subways and 15 bus lines. It will take you 5 minutes to reach the "rue Montorgueil" and all the food shops (fishmonger's, cheese merchant, cellarmen, bakery, florist, delicatessen), all the restaurant and fashion stores from the most traditional to the trendiest. You will find one of the best sushis bars in townjust accross the street, but also two organic groceries, an organic cellarman, and lots of other grocery stores, nail bars, hair salons, bars, and velib stations (bike stations) in a five minute range. You also just have to walk 10 minutes to le Marais, le centre Beaubourg, la Place des Victoire, 20 minutes to reach le Louvre, la Place Vendôme. If you are a fan of bodybuilding and fitness, the best and most beautiful gym in Paris is one street ahead. If you are more into theatre or cinema, don't worry, you will find them next door. In one word you will be able to discover Paris from our place as it's really in the center, and will also be plugged in the local life.
