More about us

  1. Conor is an artist and academic and I work in IT creating software. We have two grown children who occasionally travel with us. We are based in Dublin, Ireland, but visit Paris as much as possible. We are new to formal home exchange, although we have swapped with friends. If you are interested we could also swap our Victorian home in Dublin.

Neighbourhood

Our apartment is in a quiet residential neighbourhood. We are right beside a large beautiful park (Parc Montsouris) where families picnic on summer evenings. The catacombs and place Denfert-Rochereau are a short walk or cycle away, as is the buzz of Montparnasse with its many restaurants. The historic quarter of Buttes aux Cailles is also within walking distance with excellent restaurants and bars and an indoor and outdoor swimming pool. The Cite Universitaire with its eclectic architecture, theatre and vibrant student life is across the park.
The RER B (direct to Charles de Gaulle airport) is 5 minutes walk across the park. Metro and tram are close by. We like to walk to the Luxembourg gardens and St Michel, but its 5 minutes by RER. 20 minutes from Orly airport via OrlyBus
