About our home

We offer a large and beautiful apartment at the 5th floor of a typical XIXth century building in Le Marais, in the center of Paris, withing walking distance to all center activities (Les Halles, Bastilles, Ile St Louis, Place des Vosges, etc.).
We have three bedrooms, one with a double bed and a study, one children's room with two beds and a baby-bed and an other one with a single bed. There is one living room/dining room and a large kitchen where all the family can eat as well. It's quite a big apartment, very typical of Paris, with wooden floor and a nice view over the roofs. We have a cleaning lady 2 times a week, and 4 bikes which allow very nice rides in the neighbourhood.

More about us

  1. My husband, Fabrice (43) is a business school professor (Essec); I'm a 42 years old journalist working for AD, a famous CondeNast decoration magazine. We have two little boys, Marcel, 7 years old, and Joseph, 6 years old. We also have a german au-pair living with us. Fabrice and I have always loved to travel (Fabrice has himself lived in the United States for a few years) but slowed down a little when the kids were born. Now we are ready to start again as a family, in a more comfortable way!

Where is it?

Our apartment is situated in the historical neighbourhood of Le Marais, with many beautifull shops and art gallerys around. Musée Picasso is just around the corner, the place des Vosges 5 minutes away... Also, rue de Bretagne, with its many foodstalls, including one of the best fromagers, and the little market of les Enfants rouges, open everyday.
The whole neighborhood has become recently the hub of the upscale and trendy arts and fashion galeries (rue Vielle du Temple, etc.)
