About our home

A house as if you were in the country side (no noise) but in the middle of the city ... 150m2 and a garden... The house is a old-fashioned duplex, has 2 bedrooms, one with a king size bed and another one with a queen size bed. There is also a small garden in front on the house where you can eat when the weather is nice. We have a big kitchen where cooking becomes a pleasure and where the family can eat. But you can also eat in the dinning room with it's four bay windows looking into the garden The lounge is really cosy with it's two sofa's where it is always nice to lie after a day of visit and shopping.

More about us

  1. We are a family of 4, with 2 daughters of 16 and 18 years old. I am a PR in the food and wine business while my husband is a wine writer. Both french we love travelling, as we love to discover new cultures, new cookings, and of course new wines. As for our daughters our eldest is taking a gap year and travelling around the world (one of the aims of the house exchange beeing to go and see her wherever she is) while the youngest is still in boarding school.

Where is it?

We live in the center of Paris, 3min walking from the eiffel tower, 5 metro stations away from the champs Elysée and same to St Germain des Près... For the ones who like to exercize there is a public swimming pool 2min away from the house and are also really close (not more than 45seconds) to a big park (champs de mars) where it is nice to jog (but also have picnics when the weather is nice). The house is also not far from the Louvre or the Centre Pompidou. If you'd rather go shopping just walk 10minutes and go to the rue du commerce. You can also find all around the house many small shops such as a typical french boulangerie or a place to by french cheese... But don't be alarmed you'll also find a place to buy fruits, another to buy meat (wine or just everyday products)... There are also many small but good restaurants all around.
