We offer a lovely typical Parisian apartment in the center of Paris at the bottom of Montmartre. It is on the 5th floor without elevetor and south-oriented. It is very sunny and has a balcony with a lot of plants and flowers. If the weather is nice, you can have your breakfast on it: there is a small table and 2 chairs.
The apartment is constituted of a very pleasant living/dining room (about 25 sqm) with a big sofa (where 2 people can sleep), 2 armchairs, a table, 4 chairs and a big bookcase. If you come in winter, you can use the fire place.
There is a CD player and a TV set.
The bedroom (about 16sqm )has a double bed and overlooks a yard, which makes it quiet.
The kitchen is small but fully equiped and the bathroom has a bath tub.
I am 46 and my husband 51; he is an artist and I am a headhunter. We love Paris and we know the city pretty well. We enjoy spending time with our friends, but also music, theater, exhibitions, movies, good restaurants and...travelling.
In 2008, we would like to spend a week or ten days in New-York City from April the 30th to May the 10th.
Our apartment would be available from April the 30th to May the 10th, the last 2 weeks in June, the last week of August, one week in October but we don't know which one yet, and probably a week after Christmas.
We are also interested in exchanging our apartment for long week-end in any big cities in Europe.
The area is really great. It is very lively, with nice shops, restaurants, movies, theaters, concert halls, cafés. You have several supermarkets close to the apartment and a market, rue Lepic with butchers, fish-shops, bakeries, groceries.
It is very central. If you like to walk, you can be in less than one hour nearly everywhere: Champs Elysées, Canal Saint-Martin, Beaubourg, Notre-Dame, Opera... If you prefer not to walk, you can take direct buses or metros.
