“Our hosts were very understanding and allowing us to go to their house and short notice even though they were exchanging with someone else.A magical home, with brilliant location so close to the airport. We used it as a base to explore lake geneva and other parts of more mountainous switzerland. The house was clean and tidy and comfortable and we spent a lot of time in the garden, enjoying some fruit from the trees. It was an ideal location for us as a young family and the hosts made sure we knew all we needed to know on arrival.Highly recommended!”

About our home
Hello,
After living for 5 years in Geneva, we have moved to Paris in 2011 in a 73 square meter apartment with 2 bedrooms and one big living room with an open kitchen. It's perfect for a family with 2 children or a couple.
The apartment was entirely renovated in a contemporary style in 2011.
We like it a lot because it's very bright and quiet, with a nice view on the roofs of Paris. There is everything you need inside, especially if you like to cook, with a farmer's market 3 times a week! In front of our building we have a bakery with nice croissants and "pain au chocolat". We have Netflix, DVD and books in English and home cinema TV if you are too tired to go out in the evening.
We are sure you will like it a lot, all our friends do!

Nathalie's reviews
As a host (4)“I stayed there in June 2013 with my 15 and 18 year old children and we all loved it. The apartment is really comfortable, it has everything you need and is very well connected with metro or bus. Nathalie and Gaetan were really nice and helped in everything we needed. We would definitely recommend it!”
More about us
-
We are a young couple, Gaetan (44) and Nathalie (41). Gaetan works for a pharmaceutical company in Paris and Nathalie works for an insurance company. We love to travel; our latest trips were in La Réunion, Crete, Portugal, Costa Rica (Nosara), Spain (Andalusia), Argentina, Ireland, Bali Indonesia. Gaetan has 2 children from a first wedding: Charlyne (23) and Cameron (21), who live in Geneva and we had a baby in march 2015 (Matteo). We love photography, movies & documentary, music like jazz and funk, sports, and meeting people. We are respectful house guests and very experienced exchangers. We have already done over 10 very happy and successful exchanges. We would prefer to offer our place to 4 persons max who are quiet and careful. We would respect your home as we do with our own.

Where is it?
Neighbourhood
We are located in the north of Paris (18th district), between the Sacré Coeur and the famous antiques & flea market of Clignancourt, 5 minutes walk from 2 subway stations “Simplon” (line 4) and “Marcadet Poissonniers” (line 12), close from from “Abesses” the Montmartre station.
You can be in the center of Paris in 15-20 minutes with the subway.
Paris is my favorite place, after 5 years in Geneva to join my husband, we moved back to Paris.
Paris is for a me source of inspiration, I love the streets, the ambiance, being able to find everything I need there!
For me the best way to discover the city is by foot.
It’s the romantic city by excellence and you can find what you want: culture, music, and of course shopping.
My favorite activity is to have a coffee with my best friend at a “terrasse” and just watch people in the street.
More info :
The neighborhood is mutli-cultural / multi-ethnic, it's perfectly safe during the day (there are schools and families), but as in most big cities, it gets more busy / agitated on Friday and Saturday evenings / nights.
There are a couple mini supermarkets around and a bigger one "Super U" on the boulevard (about 10 min. walk).
There is a farmers market 3 times a week (Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday) on the boulevard next to our street (about 5 minutes walk), and another one (more trendy/high level) every day "rue du Poteau" about 10-15 minutes walk.
There is a bakery which makes good bread right in front of the building, for meat eaters, there are butchers on the boulevard (about 5 min walk).
For restaurants, I would recommend the ones at 10/20 minutes walk in the direction of Sacré-Coeur on the Montmartre hill.
There is a takeaway pizzeria just near the apartment that makes good pizza.
