“We had our first home exchange with Benoit, Elizabeth and family in August 2009. We stayed briefly in the Paris apartment (very nicely decorated and in an amazing neighbourhood) then 2 and a half weeks in their home in Provence. The location in Provence was ideal (Maubec), very close to many of the perched villages and other Provence "must see" sites. The house was spacious and comfortable with a lovely pool for those hot August afternoons. Elizabeth met us at the apartment in Paris and gave us a quick tour of the neighbourhood. Benoit picked us up at the train station in Avignon and he and his daughters spent the evening with us preparing a barbequed dinner and helping us plan where to visit during our stay. We returned to our house in perfect order, very clean and well cared for. If you are interested in visiting Provence or Paris I would highly recommend this exchange. There are many stairs to the Paris apartment (112, we counted) but well worth the effort.”
