About our home

Our flat is situated on the top ( 6th ) floor in an XIX th century building near "Le Marais" in the very center of Paris. The building is ancient and charming but the flat is entirely renovated. The flat is large, well decorated and equipped, very calm and sunny. It has four bedrooms available: one large with double bed and private bathroom, 3 medium size with single beds. Plus Two bathrooms and one separated WC. There is a large living room with a chimney, separated from the kitchen by a big dining table. Be careful: there is an elevator available only from the 2nd floor to the 6th floor, so you will have to climb 2 floors of stairs before getting to the elevator!

Hello, my name is Marie, I have been living here for nine years alone with my five children. We often host foreign students from all over the world for a few weeks or a few months. I am a HR consultant, working for my own firm, after having worked for many years in big international executive search firms My children (four girls and one boy) are now aged 15 to 24. The 3 elder ones are students and not at home all the time. We don't have animals at home. We would like to travel during school vacations all around the world and discover other environments and cultures !

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

We live in the very center of Paris, near "Le Marais" which is a very charming and ancient area: old buildings, art galleries, fashion shops, trendy bars...). Several tube lines very close. The surroundings are very nice and calm: food market just underneath the apartment, shopping, restaurants, museums... all very close. 5 mn walk from Centre Pompidou, 10 mn from Cathédrale Notre Dame de Paris, 15 mn from Musée du Louvre... and all most exciting places to visit in Paris!
