About our home

My home is a comfortable flat in the very heart of Paris. Especially the large living room with its high windows and exposed beams on the ceiling that give to the apartment a Parisian oldfashioned style. A large couch, dedicated to reading and napping, will easily accomodate a third person. Although most of the furniture are antiques, the kitchen is very well equiped, with all kinds of modern households, such as oven, fridge & freezer, dishwasher, juice extractor.... The cosy bedroom views on a quiet courtyard. Toilets are separate. And at last, the bathroom shares a beautiful shower and a bathtub large enough to welcome two people...!

Where is it?

I live on the first floor of an 18th century building in a very quiet street (where Moliere was born...!) My neighborhood is known for restaurants, cafes and art galleries. In fact, right across my building, there is a famous 1 star restaurant. It's a central, historical, arty district. You are one street from the Seine and the Louvre. I'm at the angle of Rue Saint Honore, with all the art galleries, the trendy shopping and the theaters such as the Comedie Francaise. You can choose to take a walk and enjoy a peaceful moment at the Jardins du Palais-Royal or Jardins des Tuileries, or even closer Jardin des Halles. Nearby, two minutes door to door, is also the main shopping center of the city, with its movie theater and swimming pool. If you cross the river by the romantic Pont des Arts and walk 5 minutes South, you'll find the elegant Saint Germain des Pres. Very near on the west side, there is the famous Ile Saint Louis. Although my neighborhood is peaceful, you can experience parisian nightlife at the Marais and the Montorgueil district located five minutes from my place. All the main buses or metro lines or buses are even less than 5 minutes walking. (Lines 1-4-7-9-11-14...) It's a perfect place for young adults. If you have any special interest, I can get all the informations you need before you come.
