About our home

We live in the heart of Paris, in a duplex, 50m ². As you open the door you enter directly into the lounge dining room and the kitchen. The lounge opens into a terrace facing south. The toilets and another terrace are on the ground floor.

Upstairs, there are the bedroom, the bathroom and a small dressing. Our apartment is very bright because the facade is fully glazed, overlooking the private garden.

More about us

Where is it?

The apartment is located in the area of Bastille, a very central and trendy area. On the "Place de la Bastille", you will find the main opera house of Paris. It is also an historic place, as the French Revolution began there.
This is a very central area, with three subway lines and a lot of bus lines. You can reach the center (Notre-Dame, Le Louvre, Châtelet...) in 10 minutes in public transport, or you can easily walk to enjoy the city.
The area is a place where a lot of people go out in the evening : you will fin a lot of restaurants and bars, and always people in the streets.
If you like cooking (like Aurélie), we suggest you the Marché d'Aligre : this is one of the most famous market in Paris that you can reach in 10 minutes of walk. There, you can buy cheeses, wines and other culinary specialities, affordable and of good quality (provinding a lot of good restaurants). We have noticed that some japanese tourists like visiting the fish store :-)
