About our home

On the fifth floor (with no lift) of an early century building, our apartment is typically Parisian. The large windows leading to the balcony let in lots of light, and also offer a pleasant view of Parisian rooftops, with the Tour Montparnasse in the foreground.
Fully equiped and comfortable, it is ideal for 2 persons, and with the sofa bed in the livingroom you can easily be 4.

Close to Père Lachaise, Ménilmontant and Bastille, the apartment is ideally located to discover the eastern sector of Paris. The 11th arrondissement is one of the trendiest area of Paris, artistic and animated, but also familial. There are plenty of bakeries, grocery stores, butcher shops, within walking distance. For fine food and entertainment you can walk a few minutes to the Oberkampf area with its great variety of bars and restaurants. Between Père Lachaise, St Maur and Voltaire stations, you can go around the city very easily with the metro (direct way to Opéra Garnier, les Grands Magasins, Montmartre, Pigalle…)

We are Marjorie and Amélie, both in our 30's. We work respectively as a strategic planner in a design agency, and as a free-lance graphic designer. We already experienced a few exchanges (to Amsterdam, Stockholm, Copenhagen and London) and we loved it! We find it is the best way to get to know a country and its people.
We are both clean and respectul persons, we will take very good care of your home.
We would love to spend 2 or 3 weeks in New York around May, but remain open to other proposals.
Exchanges for long weekends are welcome throughout the year.
Non simultaneous exchange is also a possibility.
