More about us

  1. I am a Parisian and I love to share tips about my city and help my guests having the best time! I also rent my home. Food, art and culture are my personal favorites. Curiosity and pickiness lead my choices regarding restaurants, fine pastry shops and places to discover in the city.

Our Burgundy house that might be available for swaps in 2020 (we also rent it) :

  2. Luxury fashion
    Interior design

  3. Culture, arts, travelling (obviously), food, architecture, interior design, fashion, music.
Cities, nature, seaside, anywhere in Italy, especially Rome, Venice and Florence ; Great Britain, especially London. I would love to explore these places I already know and love but more as a local, and to discover new places.

Where is it?

Quiet and lovely cul-de-sac street full of plants and greenery in a neighborhood away from the madding crowd, but very convenient to access the major spots in Paris and the center (20 mn). All amenities in a lively street meters away, a few good restaurants nearby. Not "fancy", more a mixed population of families, middle class and a few hidden beautiful homes in this area which is full of small streets with hidden artist homes/ateliers
10 mn from Montparnasse, an important artistic place in Paris with painters, writers, musicians a century ago. Now full of brasseries and creperies (trains from Brittany arrive here), cafés and movie theaters.

15/20 mn away from Saint Germain/Odéon cafés and nightlife, Latin Quarter, Panthéon and the student district.

20 mn from Champs-Elysées and connection with metro line 1 (Arc de Triomphe, Champs-Elysées, Tuileries Gardens, Louvre, Le Marais, Bastille)
Easy access to major spots like the Louvre and Orsay Museums, all the Left Bank within 20 mn (Luxembourg, Odéon, Saint-Germain, Saint-Michel, Notre-Dame, Ile de La Cité.)

Convenient for couples, couples of friends and families who like their privacy and would like to enjoy a drink on the terrace and sleep at night.

Buzzy restaurants
I provide my guests with several emails and a big list of places. Best restaurants around : Origins 14 (formerly known as La Régalade, the first "bistronomic restaurant" in town. La Cantine du Troquet, very good French basque cuisine.
Cool bars
No fancy cocktail bars, mainly just bars.
Retail therapy
Mainly food shops.
Bit of culture
Fondation Cartier, Catacombes, Fondation Cartier Bresson, L'Entrepot center
Walks in the park
Montsouris (10 mn), Luxembourg (15 mn)
Spot of exercise
A gym 100 meters away, a pool 300 meters away
Day tripping
Walk around the city and look up
