Our apartment is on the fourth (out of six) floor of a haussmannian building located in the upper part of the 16th arrondissement of Paris.
The apartment was fully renovated two years ago with high standard furniture and equipment. It is clean, extremely quiet, with high ceilings and contemporary lines, a state of art kitchen, a luxury master suite, two bedrooms and one office/bedroom.
The living and dining room is spacious with italian design furniture.
The master suite is composed of a large bedroom and bathroom equipped with a rainfall shower and 2m by 2.4m bathtub. It is ideal for a couple looking to relax while enjoying the city.
The two other bedrooms are being used by our children. They have a separate bathroom.
The office can also be used as a bedroom (sofa bed for two).
It has high speed internet (wi-fi everywhere), TV and cable.
Our laundry room is equipped with a washing machine and a dryer.
The kitchen comes with induction plates, wine cellar, integrated Nespresso machine, micro-wave, oven, refrigerator and washing machine.
A maid comes twice a week to clean the apartment and do the laundry.
The 16th arrondissement of Paris includes a concentration of museums between the Place du Trocadéro and the Place d'Iéna. Situated on the right bank of the River Seine, this arrondissement is home to a large number of diplomatic embassies and is also the location of the famous Avenue Foch, the widest street in Paris and home to many of the City's wealthy foreign residents.
We are locate at Porte Dauphine: the Arc de Triomphe and the Champs Elysées and just a couple of minutes away by foot. The Trocadero and Eiffel Tower are also close (10 minutes by foot).
If you wish to take the underground, the Porte Dauphine station is just a few meters away. From there you can easily travel through Paris.
Across the street, you can also enjoy a walk in the Bois de Boulogne, which is 2.5 times larger than Central Park in New York, and comparable in size to Richmond Park in London. The northern part of the Bois de Boulogne is occupied by the Jardin d'Acclimatation, an amusement park with a zoo and other attractions. The Bois de Boulogne is full of activities on the weekends, such as biking, jogging, boat rowing and remote control speed boats. Picnics are held, but barbecues are not allowed privately.
We are couple with two children (a five year old boy, and two year old girl).
She works in the fashion industry. He is a trader. We are looking forward to exchange our home and meet interesting people.
