We are living an 968 sq ft / 90m2 downtown Paris (largest space than usual). Located on 4 rd floor in a city programm housing for artist and our appartement is composed of 2 bedrooms (1double, 2single beds & 1crib baby), 1 bathroom, 1 living room+1kitchen with large space & large windows. Amenities : oven, MW, WM, TV, DVD, radio set, computer with high speed internet access on G5. (designed for graphism and Video)
We have a car & a parking lot.
We work often at home. We appreciate books & movies.
Our flat is fitting well for a four peoples familly.
We're close from everywhere by subway: 5' of Gare du Nord wich is 15' far by train of CDG airport, 15' of Champs Elysees, Galeries Lafayette, 10' of Montmartre...
For urban hiker it is perfect too, every place are walking distance,
Notre Dame is five kilometers away.
You will find all you need on the block: bookshop, bakery trade, newspapers stall, cheese dairy, butchery, fishmonger's, supermarkets, cafes with differents style hip, local , bobo (leftist burgesy), young peoples or dirty too.(very good for ethnology)
In the neighborhood, you will enjoyed : the "Canal St Martin" & the "Canal de l'Ourq" with shops, bars, restaurants, movies, the "Parc de la Villette" for outdoors activities & the "Cite de la musique" & "Cite des Sciences" museums, the famous XIXth century park Eastern Downtown Paris "Buttes Chaumont", & a lot of structure for doing sport. Our district is a delicate balance between among of social class. We do have also a lot of cacher groceries.
We are artist and professor working at the university and art school. We have two young children, a boy & a girl 5 & 1 years old. We speak english both. We don't have animals and we are non smokers.
We are concern by contemporary art and we are fond of books and music. We appreciate science-fiction, rock'n'roll. We are like foreign culture, and most of it we pay a lot of interest to american & english culture. Reading Brautigan, Joyce, Lester Bangs, Fredric Brown and a lot of more of them.
We like history and geography as an efficent way to understood our world.
