About our home

We offer a large first-floor studio (50m2) located in an outstanding 1930's building (large impressive art deco styled hall), with a maid once a week and on-site caretaker. There is one vast sunny room, with three tall windows and ancient wooden floor: a king-size floor bed, a living corner with nice comfortable sofa and armchairs, a 1930 desk, a big bookcase. We have an American style fitted kitchen. The separate entrance hall with cupboards opens on a lighted bathroom.
At your disposal: internet, flat-screen TV with DVD player, Hi-fi.
It's a typical Parisian art deco apartment, and we have been intent on decorating it with elegant plainness: ancient and modern furniture, character style objects make our home a very smart and cosy one.
At the end of our street, we can see the Eiffel Tower.

More about us

  1. We are a recently married couple, 29 and 26 years-old, my husband is a film producer and I am a book publisher. Both of us have always been Parisian, so the Parisian life has no secrets for us, and we will be pleased to share advices and good places with you.
We have not done a home exchange before but we are longing to discover New York, for my husband's birthday, and we'd loved to travel more and more in the United States and in Italy.
We will do all our best to facilitate our guests' stay in Paris.

Where is it?

We grew fond of our charming area, Passy district near the Trocadéro. The 16e arrondissement is renowned to be a very safe one, both calm and stimulating. There are a lot of shopping streets around (notably the "Rue de Passy" with luxury stores, cinemas and coffees). The apartment is only a 5 minute walk from the Trocadéro, 15 minute from the Eiffel Tower,30 minute walk or 5 minute subway from the Champs Elysées, and not far from the great park "Bois de Boulogne" where lovely gardens and little islands are very famous in Spring. To go to the Trocadéro, where is established the most reputable "salon de thé" in Paris, Café Carette, we would like a charming walk along the "Avenue Georges Mandel", planted with trees, where we can see many original buildings.
