About our home

Our flat is on the first floor of a building from the 30’s in a closed yard. It is a lovely, charming typically Parisian flat, very comfortable and quiet.
It includes living room, kitchen, 2 bedrooms, bathroom and separate toilet.
In the spacious and cozy living room facing the yard you will find TV and DVD player, wifi, Nintendo wii.
The kitchen is typically Parisian: small but well functioning and equipped with gas stove, dish washer, fridge and freezer.
Both bedrooms are large and divided in two separate parts for more privacy: One is the children’s room, large and very cozy with 3 beds (bunk bed in one half and a single bed in the other half), a desk, and lots of toys. The other bedroom has a double bed in one half and a “children’s section” in the other half with enough space to install a mattress.
The bathroom has a bathtub and a washing machine/dryer.
We have an on-site concierge.
We have a nice and friendly cat which you will have to take care of, while we are away. He is not demanding. Just the usual: A reasonable amount of food and some company.

Where is it?

We truly appreciate our neighborhood, the 14th arrondissement: quiet, away from the tourist crowd and still with a lot of things to see and do. We are just a few minutes’ walk from the very charming rue Daguerre with many small shops: butchers, bakeries, cheese and wine shops among others, a large choice of cafés, restaurants and most of all, this authentic appeal of true Parisian local life.
You can visit the Catacombs at Denfert Rochereau as well as the unusual Montparnasse Cemetery. For the children, we have several small parks and play grounds within a few minutes’ walk and the very beautiful Parc Montsouris close by.

Montparnasse, Jardin du Luxembourg and the Latin Quarter are reachable by foot. If you prefer public transport, several buses and metro lines are just a hundred meters away.
