About our home

Our house was first built in 1920, and extended in 1970. We have fully renovated the house in 2001, with wood floor everywhere and new kitchen and bathroom furniture. Baseground is composed of a large volume with living room with open fire place, dining room, separated kitchen with dining table for 6, separated working room, and 2 children sleeping rooms with one small bathroom. On first floor, there are 2 large sleeping rooms, each with their full bathroom and dressing. In the underground, we put our motorbike (Yamaha FJR1300), the bicycles, a table soccer (pro model). In the garden, we have 10 oak trees over 100 years on one side. Our cat can go in and out thanks a catdoor.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Our house is ideally situated in a town south of Paris. From the house, you walk less than 10 minutes to the station. The train (RER) brings you in 25 minutes to Paris. Train frequency varies from 7 minutes to 30 minutes depending on the time of the day. For shopping and going out, this is the best way because driving around and in Paris can be a nightmare. However, we let our car with GPS TomTom for visiting other places like the Chateaux de la Loire (2 hours drive) or many famous (or less) Chateaux around Paris. In our city, you will find all kind of supermarkets and shops, and we do like to buy fresh food in the hall market taking place 2 times a week at walk distance.
