About our home

We offer a large and beautiful apartment in the center of Paris. We have 3 bedrooms, one with 2 single beds, one with a single bed and a queen size loft bed, and one with a king size bed and office area with computer and scanner/copier/printer. There is a living room and a dining room. It's a typical Parisian apartment, with hard-wood floors. There is no elevator and it is on the 3rd floor (2e étage). We also have a piano. An on-site concierge takes care of the building.

More about us

  1. We are a family of 5 who moved to Paris from the Philadelphia area in August 2008. David is an IT Project Manager for a French company, and Wendy is working very hard to get us settled in Paris. Our son is 12; our daughters are 9 and 11. David is fluent in French and Spanish. We have a small dog and a cat, and we would love to swap pet care, as well, if you are interested, or we can make other arrangements for them. We are a neat, responsible family; we will take excellent care of your home and expect you to do the same with ours. We are particularly interested in San Diego and New York City because we have family living in both cities. We want to swap during all of July, but are flexible with starting and ending dates.

Where is it?

Situated in the very center of Paris (9th arrondissement), with Galeries Lafayette right around the corner for shopping. You can walk to the Opera in 3 minutes or to the Tuileries Gardens and The Louvre in about 15 minutes (3 short metro stops away). The closest metro is only 1-1/2 blocks away, and two other metro stops within a very short walk offer many more metro lines. There are also public bicycles for rent right outside our apartment building (30 minutes or less is free!).
