About our home

An unusual flat (83 sq. meters). Before being transformed, the flat used to be a restaurant... over ten years ago. A main and bright 46 sq. m. living room including an open kitchen. The big parents room is located under the living room with its WC ans a large flat screen. In the kids room, there is currently one big bed (up the stairs) and a baby one below. The baby bed shall be replaced by a regular one.

We have 2 adults' bike with kids seat and also a kids trailer (and helmets of course). Biking may be the best way to visit Paris (bike is our daily mean of transportation, bike lanes available)... 10 mn to the Opera, Montmartre and so on... We have everything to take care of babies/child up to the age of four, including 'baby-call', stroller,.. .

A car is really not required to live in central Paris. Therefore, exchanging might be an option as well to sightsee places of interest quite far from central Paris such as Versailles, Giverny, driving to Normandy's shore (2h30) or Champagne vineyards (1h30).

More about us

Where is it?

Paris Central/East, located between 'Gare du Nord' (North Station, trains going to London, Bruxelles...) and Canal Saint-Martin, a quite trendy area that will remind you of some Parisian clichés ("Amélie Poulain"). Either on a bike or in the subway, it takes no longer that 10/12 minutes to get to Notre-Dame, Opera, Montmartre, Père Lachaise etc... Lots of food shops and restaurants nearby.
