Really nice Parisian neighbourhood, 5 minute walk to the one of the most known Parisian market streets. Supermarket and bakeries in my street. Safe area : I am a single young woman and I often go back home with the last subway (midnight or later).
subway line 1 and 8: direct to the main tourist spots : Champs Elysée (15min), Louvre(10min), Le Marais(5min - 3stops subway), Bastille(5min, 2 stop subway), Galerie Lafayette (15min), Invalides.
4 stop from "le Bois de Vincennes", bigger than central park where you can listing outdoor jazz concert during the summer.
Line 1 is the fatest, cleanest and safest subway line in Paris.
