About our home

We live in a charming 18th century apartment “on the roofs”, recently renewed, in the heart of the royal village of Saint Germain en Laye, only 15 minutes from central Paris with the subway.

Our place has two regular bedrooms and a mezzanine, where we have managed a third bedroom (the children’s bedroom). We have enough room for 7 people (2 couples, 3 children).

More about us

  1. Nicolas, French, 40 years old, works as financial manager for a large French industry. Anna, Brazilian, 35 years old, is a lawyer, and practices in Paris.

We will be traveling with three children, Damien (13), Samuel (13) and Etienne (10).

We are currently looking for an exchange for August/2011.

We are open to all destinations, but we would prefer a destination in Europe for this summer, as we will be traveling with the kids.

Where is it?

Saint Germain is a very living neighborhood and undoubtedly one of the most charming places around Paris. We live nearby the park of the Chateau (and its terrace, with one of the most impressive views over Paris), and many (many!) cafés, restaurants, shops and luxury stores.

Saint Germain is about 15 minutes away from central Paris. We live just nearby the subway station. The subway goes straight to the Champs Elysées (that’s where we work) in about 15 to 20 minutes. It also goes straight to the Opera (and the Galleries), the Louvre museum, and the Notre Dame in about 20 minutes.

The subway goes also straight to Disneyland Paris in about 45 minutes.

It is the perfect place to stay, especially if you are traveling with children.
