About our home

This is a lovely duplex flat with wooden floor, located just at the entrance of Paris, with a very feminine decorative touch. The building itself is an old building with Art Deco style. It is situated in the metro station "Louise Michel" (line 3) at 5' min walking distance. The metro brings you in the center of Paris in 10 minutes : Galeries Lafayettes, Opéra Garnier... The flat can welcome a couple and one child. The apartment is located on the 4th floor, without an elevator, so beware if you're not familiar with stairs. :) The upside is that the flat is always quiet, very luminous and sunny, and that you have a beautiful view on roofs.

More about us

  1. We are a couple. Michel is 42 and I (Clarisse) am 29. I am working in the entertainment industry and Michel is an independant consultant in a bank. Michel has a son of 11 years old who lives part time with us. We spend a lot of time walking in Paris and we love to discover some nice little restaurants. We already made a home exchange with a San Francisco couple and we loved that. We love travelling (who doesn't ?), but most of all we like to get a sense of a city by living the way its residents do. Still from time to time, it's fun to spend a few days in a fancy hotel. :)

Where is it?

The area is extremely safe and 'bourgeois'. As soon as you get out of the building, you find yourself in a pedestrian area where you can find many grossery shops : a fabulous baker's shop and all you can dream about French food! The neighbourhood is full of trendy and nice shops. There is also a huge food market every saturday and sunday which attracts many people !
