About our home

My flat is a typical Parisian one, with a large living room and a bedroom. There are a fireplace, woodenfloors, and some mouldings. There is a shower in the bathroom, which was renewed a year ago. The kitchen is very well equiped, since I cook a lot. The coach in the living room is a very comfortable (and pretty new !) sofabed, for 2. A maid is coming weekly, and is included in the swap. I really enjoy my place, and I hope you will enjoy it too. It is clear and quiet.

I am Isabelle, and I am 53. I work in communication and design, for the french railways company. I have a passion for cooking. If this topic interest you, you would find almost four hundred cookbooks at my place. I like to go to the cinema, theater, to restaurants, concerts, and I like to discover other cultures. Where is it?

Neighbourhood

My flat is very well located in Paris. The area is called "Les Ternes". It is a nice area with a lot of stores, restaurants, cafés and also a typical food market at one block ! (One among the best cheese stores in Paris is right there !!). It would take you less than ten minutes to walk to l'Etoile and les Champs Elysees, and ten minutes more by RER to shop at the "Grands Magasins". A nice area to stay, and very convenient to visit all the sites of Paris. The nearest subway station (Ternes) is at a three minutes walking distance. There are also several buses lines to go everywhere in Paris.
